Starting A Jiu Jitsu gym

It’s finally happening. After years of training, competing, and watching how things are usually done… it was time to do something different.

So I started my own gym.

Not to get rich. Not to stroke my ego. Not to follow someone else’s template.

I started Dino Jiu Jitsu because I wanted to build the kind of gym I always wished existed — a place where anyone, from any background, can walk in and feel like they belong.

No politics.
No gatekeeping.
No charging you for every little thing — promotions, sign-ups, cancellations, “required” merch. That’s not how we do it here.

This gym is about Jiu-Jitsu. Period.
The discipline, the growth, the struggle, the fun.
The kids learning how to stand up for themselves.
The adults finding strength they forgot they had.
The community that forms when people show up for each other on and off the mat.

If you're brand new, you’re welcome.
If you're seasoned, you’re welcome.
If you're a competitor, a college kid, a parent, a homeschool family, or someone just trying to get off the couch — we built this place for you.

I don’t know where this journey will go, but I know what kind of place we’re building:
A place where Jiu-Jitsu is for everyone.
A place where respect runs both ways.
A place where people grow — together.

Let’s build something bigger than just a gym.
Let’s build a team that pushes each other, supports each other, and does big things.
